Mr Justin Morgan MD FRCS
Mr Morgan is a consultant general, endocrine and transplant surgeon at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust and the BUPA Hospital, Bristol. As well as his interest in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, he has had a long interest in weight loss surgery. He trained in Lyon, France with Dr Vincent Frering. Mr Morgan has a special interest in weight loss surgery in adolescents and is a member of the British Obesity Surgery Society.

Miss Sally Norton MD FRCS
Miss Norton is a consultant laparoscopic and upper gastrointestinal surgeon at Southmead Hospital, North Bristol NHS Trust, the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the BUPA Hospital, Bristol. She has had a specialist interest in weight loss surgery for over five years having undertaken a year-long fellowship in Australia, training with Dr George Fielding, a world renowned expert in weight loss surgery. This provided her with experience in laparoscopic bypass surgery procedures including duodenal switch and gastric banding. She is a member of the British Obesity Surgery Society.

One of the most experienced weight loss surgeons in the world, Dr Frering has personally performed over 6000 operations worldwide for the treatment of obesity. He is an international authority on gastric banding and developed a new design of gastric band based on his extensive surgical experience. He has trained surgeons from Europe, South America, the US and Australasia and now runs the Clinic Sauvegarde, Lyon, France. Dr Frering operates with the Weight Loss Surgery Clinic several times a year. He is fully registered with the UK General Medical Council.
